Job summary

Target is offering an Operations Intern program in its supply chain facilities. This paid internship is a 40 hr/week hands-on training designed to develop operations leadership and team mentorship.

As an Operations Intern you will work with mentors to learn daily planning, safety, and productivity, gaining exposure to inbound/outbound and warehousing activities while supporting guest service goals.

Qualifications

• Participation in school or extracurricular activities and experience in leadership roles
• Strong interest in working in retail, specifically within our supply chain facilities
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Problem-solving skills and strong initiative

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily operations within the Target Supply Chain facility
• Lead small tasks and attend planning meetings with peers/leadership
• Support safety, quality and productivity initiatives and coaching of team members
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and mentorship under a Target leader
