Genesis HealthCare is seeking a Nursing Unit Assistant in Stillwell, WV to support daily patient care and non-direct services. You will report changes to the charge nurse, assist with the dining program, and help transport patients for rehabilitation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Provide non direct patient care as a Nursing Unit Assistant so as to achieve positive patient outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.

• *Report changes in patients' condition, patient/family concerns or complaints to charge nurse and/or supervisor.
• *Make unoccupied patient beds.
• *Assist with the dining program.
• *Ensure patients are ready for scheduled rehabilitation therapy and transports them to the rehabilitation area.
• *Manage patient personal belongings.

Qualifications

• *A minimum of a high school education or high school equivalency diploma is preferred.
• *Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our patients and visitors to respond to medical and physical needs.
