Job summary

The Pittsburgh Penguins are seeking a Motion Graphics Intern to assist in creating motion and still graphics for in-game, web, broadcast, in-arena, and event applications. The role focuses on hands-on production under supervision and close collaboration with production staff.

You'll mainly use Photoshop, After Effects, and Illustrator, with experience in Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and 3D tools considered a plus. This paid, in-person internship requires 10–15 hours weekly at PPG Paints Arena.

Qualifications

• Completed at least two years of college or equivalent education or relevant experience in motion graphics/related field.
• Must be able to work in person at PPG Paints Arena.
• Availability to work 10–15 hours per week, including day/evening hours, holidays, weekends, and Penguins home games when scheduled.
• Demonstrated interest in motion graphics, graphic design, digital media, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating assigned motion and still graphics as directed by the supervisor.
• Create in-game elements, web elements, TV broadcast elements, and in-arena assets.
• Assist with special projects for in-game or event use.
