Job summary

Aspirus, Inc. offers a Medical Assistant Student Internship Program. This paid 10-week internship runs January 4, 2027 to March 12, 2027, with up to 32 hours per week in a clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of patient care standards required.
• Wisconsin Caregiver Background Check required.
• Pre-employment physical and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Administers and documents medications and injections with final documentation by CMA, RN, or Physician.
• Reviews appointment schedules, maintains timely flow of patients, greets patients, and prepares them for examinations.
• Performs audiograms and visual testing.
• Communicates with patients via telephone, advises patients with provider instructions, and documents actions in the medical record.
