Job summary

FOX44/WFFF-TV & ABC22/WVNY-TV in Colchester, Vermont offers a paid fall semester Marketing Internship through NYSBA. This role provides practical experience in Broadcast & Digital marketing and sales, showing how campaigns are built, how to meet client needs and budgets, and how to report on performance.

You will work with Marketing Consultants, Sales Managers, and the station GM and receive feedback on your efforts during the internship period.

Qualifications

• Student shall be at least 17 years of age.
• Must be a resident of New York State and/or attend a school in New York State.
• Possess strong communications skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to research marketing prospects online.
• Able to learn research software packages.
• A collaborative worker with a willingness to learn.
• Previous internship experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Learn how marketing campaigns are constructed and how to identify client needs and budgets.
• Understand which marketing channels make the most sense to reach a targeted audience.
• Learn how to set and manage expectations and how reporting campaigns helps success.
• Work with Marketing Consultants, Sales Managers, and the station GM.
• Receive feedback on your efforts.
