Job summary

Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta is seeking interns for the Internal Audit program. You will assist with risk assessments, planning, fieldwork, control testing, and reporting while gaining on-the-job training shadowing a tenured auditor.

The program includes 10–12 weeks of full-time work, paid internships, and opportunities for professional development. Candidates must be enrolled in a 4-year or graduate program, maintain a GPA above 3.0, and be able to work across time zones.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Graduate degree program.
• Minimum GPA above 3.0 in academically rigorous curriculum.
• Willing to commit to 40-hour work week for 10-12 weeks during the summer.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Suite; knowledge of Tableau/Power BI/SharePoint a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all phases of the audit cycle including risk assessments.
• Shadow a tenured auditor and gain on-the-job training throughout the Audit Lifecycle.
• Participate in planning, fieldwork, and reporting activities.
• Engage in additional project opportunities as available.
