Job summary

RoseBernard Studio in San Francisco is seeking a hands-on Interior Design Intern for a 16-week paid internship, with in-office requirements Tue-Thu and optional remote Mondays and Fridays. The role supports project development from concept through delivery in a boutique hospitality design setting.

The intern will assist with documentation, material boards, vendor coordination, and design presentations, while developing 3D visuals, sketches, and presentation layouts under guidance.

Qualifications

• Must be a current student with GPA 3.5 or higher.
• Ability to graphically communicate design direction including hand sketching and 3D visuals.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and realization of projects with guidance.
• Maintain RoseBernard Studio standards in all work.
• Prepare and compile documentation packages as required.
• Coordinate presentation packages and material boards.
• Organize project folders and materials per RBS standards.
• Order project samples and manage specification binders/shipment.
• Assist with project specification writing.
• Lead Design Studio in materials library management.
• Meet with vendors and set up vendor meetings.
• Coordinate incoming/outgoing shipments as requested.
• Assist with graphic presentation layouts for project teams.
• Observe and report design trends in hospitality market.
• Assist in vendor presentations and communicate new products.
