Job summary

WVU Medicine is offering a 13-week information technology internship based in Morgantown, WV, with remote opportunities available. Undergraduates will support Enterprise IT teams across software engineering, BI, infrastructure, security, and health information management.

Interns gain real-world IT experience under mentors, participate in a community service project, and network with IT leaders during the summer program.

Qualifications

• Must be an undergraduate and have completed, at minimum, one sophomore semester.
• Must possess reading and comprehension ability.
• Must be able to type.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to WVUHS policies and those of assigned entities.
• Assisting with user support requests.
• Assisting with computer, hardware, and software setup.
• Assisting with resolving problems with software products and systems.
• Designing, running, and monitoring software tests for debugging and improvement.
• Understanding and assisting with software and hardware inventory management.
