Job summary

Textron Systems offers a summer Software Engineering internship with the Ground Robotics and Ground Vehicles teams in Slidell, LA. You’ll contribute to research and development for land systems, working on real projects with experienced professionals to build indispensable solutions.

As an intern, you’ll experience the full software development life cycle in a collaborative team focused on military vehicle systems. You must be pursuing CS/CE/CIS/MIS and be a U.S.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/CIS/MIS or related field.
• Experience with hardware and software integration is preferred but not required.
• Experience with standard communications protocols (TCP, UDP, CAN, Serial) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Tasks related to the full software development life cycle including design, development, build, integration, test, and delivery.
• Working within a medium size software development team on tasks related to military vehicle system development.
