Job summary

Ampact seeks a motivated graphic design intern to join our marketing and communications team in Virginia. This part-time paid internship (~10 hours/week) focuses on creating graphics that follow brand guidelines and help build your portfolio.

You will gain hands-on experience across social media, blogs, emails, and presentations, with opportunities for extension past May 2027. Applicants must submit work samples or an online portfolio demonstrating design aptitude.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a certificate or degree in graphic design, web design, desktop publishing, or related discipline.
• Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite and branding.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic design tools.
• Strong communicator with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create graphics for social media, blogs, emails, and presentations using brand templates.
• Identify and prep photos and image libraries for marketing use.
• Maintain a library of images and templates for quick access.
• Support photo and video shoots or event photography when needed.
• Collaborate with supervisor to develop new templates and improve visual impact.
