Job summary

Ampact is seeking a talented graphic design intern to join our marketing and communications team in California. This part-time paid internship (~10 hours per week) focuses on creating graphics that follow brand style guides and help build your portfolio.

You will work with templates, assist with image libraries, and support photo or video shoots while gaining hands-on experience. Applicants should be pursuing a graphic design certificate or degree and provide work samples or a portfolio link.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a certificate or degree program in graphic design, web design, desktop publishing, or related discipline.
• Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite or Adobe Creative Xpress.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong communicator with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Utilize brand templates and style guides to create graphics for social media, blogs, emails, and presentations.
• Research, identify, tag, and prep photos and image libraries to be used for marketing and promotion.
• Assist with maintaining a library of images and templates.
• Support photo and video shoots or event photography.
• Collaborate with supervisor to develop new templates and improve visual impact.
