Job summary

AbbVie’s Global Procurement Intern program is a paid 11-week summer internship where you’ll work on strategic sourcing, supplier management, analytics and digital innovation with a global team. Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related field and will be enrolled the semester after the internship.

Excel/PowerPoint experience helps; relocation support and competitive pay are offered to eligible students.

Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related field with expected graduation December 2027–June 2028.
Must be enrolled in university the semester following the internship.
Demonstrated leadership through academics, extracurricular activities, work experience, or community involvement.
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Support strategic sourcing, category management, supplier management, and other Procurement initiatives.
Analyze spend, supplier, market data to identify insights and support decisions.
Collaborate with Procurement and cross-functional teams on strategic projects.
Explore opportunities to improve processes through technology, AI, automation, and analytics.
Build business, financial, project management, and stakeholder relationship skills.
