Vertin in the United States is offering a paid Funeral Director Internship Program designed for new graduates seeking real training, mentorship, and a path to a professional career across Vertin's 90+ funeral homes in 8 states.

You'll gain hands-on experience: arranging ceremonies, caring for the deceased, building community relationships, and learning regulatory requirements under seasoned preceptors, with a flexible start date to fit your mortuary school timeline.

Qualifications

• Degree completed or in progress from Accredited Mortuary Science Program as required in the applicable state.
• Successful completion of the National Board Examination after internship completion.
• Successful completion of the applicable State Board Examination after internship completion.

Responsibilities

• Arrange and conduct funeral and memorial ceremonies in a professional, organized, and caring manner, in keeping with company policies and procedures.
• Care for the deceased with dignity, including removal and transfer, embalming, cosmetology, hairstyling, dressing, and casketing.
• Build strong community relationships through involvement in local organizations and charitable events.
• Help promote and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
• Follow all professional, state, and federal licensing regulations and rules that apply to funeral service.
