Job summary

Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi in Flowood, MS is offering a 10-12 week Accounting and Internal Audit Internship Program. You will rotate between Accounting Operations, Financial Reporting and Treasury, and assist Internal Audit with control evaluations under supervision.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, business information systems or related auditor course of study with at least a Junior level academic standing by Spring 2027.

Responsibilities

• Assist Accounting Operations, Financial Reporting and Treasury rotations.
• Assist Internal Audit with examination and evaluation of operations and controls.
• Support in budget variance analysis and daily cash flow insights.
• Contribute to GAAP journal entries and reconciliation of investment holdings.
