Job summary

IKO Industries Ltd. in Sylacauga, Alabama, invites junior, senior, or recent graduates pursuing Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering to join our Engineering Internship.

This paid co-op offers hands-on experience under senior engineers in Plant Operations. You will work with the Plant Maintenance team to advance reliability initiatives, review safety programs, develop SOPs, analyze CMMS data, and contribute to projects like the DNA linkage.

Qualifications

• Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or equivalent engineering student or recent graduate.
• Proficient in MS Excel (advanced), Word, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat.
• Able to read and interpret drawings; AutoCAD is a plus.
• Must be able to stand/walk frequently and lift up to 30 lbs; fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Support senior engineers with a range of engineering projects in Plant Operations.
• Assist maintenance team on reliability initiatives and CMMS data analysis.
• Review and update safety programs, procedures, and training materials.
• Develop SOPs, JHA, and SWI documentation.
• Participate in projects linking drawings to the CMMS (DNA project).
