Job summary

Gerdau is seeking college students for the G.Start paid internship program. These internships are project-focused and aim to develop students for future technical and managerial positions within a global company with more than 110 years of steel industry leadership.

Ideal candidates are undergraduates entering their junior or senior year, pursuing engineering degrees, with strong academics and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials Science or Metallurgy Engineering or related field.
• Minimum GPA 2.5 (preferred GPA 3.0 or higher).
• Leadership roles in student organizations or extra‑curricular activities.
• Must be legally authorized to work full-time in the country of hire without requiring current or future sponsorship for employment.
• Candidates must demonstrate leadership potential, strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, initiative, and problem-solving ability.
