Job summary

Medtronic invites engineering students to join its Summer Internship Program across multiple engineering areas. Interns work full-time (40 hours/week) for 10–11 weeks, with housing assistance and relocation support where eligible. Availability spans multiple U.S.

hubs, with onsite requirements and strong emphasis on hands-on, value-driven projects. You will gain exposure to design, testing, and manufacturing readiness while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet regulatory and quality

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s in an engineering field with expected graduation Winter 2027–Spring 2029.
• Authorized to work in the United States; internship does not sponsor work authorization.
• Internship is full-time (40 hours/week), lasting 10–11 weeks; onsite 4 days/week minimum.

Responsibilities

• Support design, development, analysis and testing of engineering solutions in R&D and product development phases.
• Assist with system integration, verification, validation, risk analysis and data-driven evaluation.
• Support safety testing, regulatory compliance, and transfer of products from development into manufacturing.
