The Cadet Program emphasizes hands-on field experience, mentorship by seasoned EMS professionals, and advancement to full-time staff upon successful completion and national certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• At least 18 years old.
• Passing pre-employment screenings including drug screen, background check, and PAT.

Responsibilities

• Complete a minimum of 16 hours of coursework per week.
• Succeed in completing required tests and certificates.
• Meet core competencies for fast-track program.
• Maintain professional conduct and provide high levels of customer service.
• Adhere to health, safety, welfare and ethical standards per policies.
