Job summary

Emergency Medical Transport offers a PAID Apprentice program designed to educate candidates and prepare them to successfully complete the National Registry Exam to become a licensed EMT. The accelerated six-week class runs Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm, with clinical and ride time required. While in class, students are paid.

After certification, graduates may be hired by sister companies with salaries ranging from $34,185 to $49,740 depending on shift. The next class will start September 2026.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Hold a valid Ohio Driver's License.
• High School diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Complete the pre-entrance examination - given prior to the interview.
• Personal Health History, Immunization record, and Physician Physical Exam (Forms will be distributed in Acceptance Packet).
• 10 Panel Urine Toxicology Screen is required. Results must be negative, includes THC. (Will be completed at interview).
