Commerce Bank in Kansas City invites a data science intern to work with senior data scientists on statistical analyses, queries, predictions, and presentation of consumer behavior and campaigns. The internship runs 11 weeks from May 18 to July 30, 2027, is paid full-time, Monday through Friday. Hybrid schedule: in-office 2 days per week.

Qualifications

• Must be a sophomore or junior majoring in data analytics, math, or statistics.
• Proficiency with Excel; programming in at least one data-science language preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn in a banking data analytics environment.

Responsibilities

• Write efficient data queries to analyze customer and product data.
• Analyze and report on customer behavior and profitability.
• Compile data analyses for data scientists.
• Prepare campaign analysis for marketing.
• Present findings to team leadership.
• Support other data analytics projects.
