Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Data Analytics & Sales Intern for Summer 2027 in Greenbelt, MD. You will bridge data insights with commercial sales execution, analyzing market trends and customer purchasing patterns to empower the sales team and drive growth.

The 10-week paid internship begins June 1, 2027, with a hybrid or onsite environment and opportunities to shadow sales personnel. You’ll build data-driven tools and present insights to leadership at the end of the summer.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Finance, Statistics, Information Systems, or Business Administration with an analytical focus.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas) and Google Suites.
• Ability to clean, interpret, and transform raw data into clear, actionable business stories.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills to explain insights to non-technical partners.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer transaction data, regional sales performance, and pricing trends to identify revenue opportunities.
• Build and update automated reporting dashboards and visualization tools (e.g. Excel) to support daily sales decisions.
• Evaluate market conditions, competitor benchmarks, and account performance to target new business prospects.
• Collaborate with sales representatives, account managers, and business leaders to understand challenges and deliver data solutions.
• Adhere to all data governance standards and safety policies across work environments.
• Present key data insights, business recommendations, and summer contributions to leadership at internship end.
