Job summary

Phoenix Rising Behavioral Healthcare and Recovery, Inc. is seeking counselor interns to join our BHCT team. Interns will provide services to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness under the supervision of a licensed supervisor, using evidence-based approaches such as CBT and Motivational Interviewing.

Prioritize flexible scheduling with no weekend hours and the option to provide telehealth or hybrid services on site, supporting a diverse client population.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a master’s degree program in human services field at CACREP or COAMFTE accredited institution.
• Pursuing Ohio licensure with CSWMFT board to diagnose and treat mental illness: CT status.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual counseling sessions using evidence‑based practices.
• Submit timely documentation of services through EHR.
• Collaborate with agency and community providers to support client care.
• Attend weekly supervision and departmental meetings as required for training purposes.
