Job summary

Phoenix Rising Behavioral Healthcare and Recovery, Inc. is seeking mental health counselors to join a BHCT team across Canton, Alliance, and a new Tuscarawas County location.

You will deliver individual counseling using CBT, MI, DBT, EMDR, and trauma‑informed approaches, with licensed supervision and access to telehealth options in a growing outpatient program.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in human service field required.
• Active Ohio licensure with CSWMFT board to diagnose and treat mental illness, LPC/LPCC/MFT/IMFT eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual counseling sessions using evidence‑based practices.
• Submit timely documentation of services through EHR.
• Collaborate with agency and community providers to support client care.

Position Summary

We are looking for full or part‑time counselors to join our behavioral health and counseling treatment (BHCT) team. As a counselor, you will provide services to persons with severe and persistent mental illness. Counselors at Phoenix Rising BHR utilize evidence‑based techniques such as CBT, Motivational Interviewing, DBT, EMDR, trauma‑informed care interventions, and other emerging best practices in mental health.
