Job summary

First Quality Retail Services, LLC in Lewistown, PA is offering paid internship programs for 2027. Interns will work on real projects, gain hands-on experience with industrial automation, PLC logic, and troubleshooting in a high-speed manufacturing environment.

Preferred candidates are high school graduates with mechatronics exposure or students in an associated degree program in Industrial/Manufacturing Automation or related fields. Strong communication and PC skills are required.

Qualifications

High school graduate with Mechatronic (or similar) experience; or currently enrolled in an Associate’s Degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Automation, Computer Science, or related field.

Responsibilities

Observes OSHA and safety rules and uses proper PPE at all times.
Work with experienced technicians to diagnose problems using PLCs, electrical schematics, multimeters, oscilloscopes.
Assist with Preventative Maintenance tasks including backing up programs and safety checks.
Organize equipment documentation from OEMs and troubleshooting guides.
Shares knowledge and techniques with team members.
