Job summary

Food Lion is offering an 11-week paid Summer Internship in Communications at the Salisbury, NC campus. Interns will gain leadership skills and practical business knowledge through hands-on projects and team collaboration.

Participants will engage in writing, interviews, and developing new communication tools, with opportunities to present to business leaders. Housing is provided, and transportation is provided if needed; applicants must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program.

Qualifications

• Minimum GPA 3.0 required; transcripts requested with resume.
• Permanent employment authorization/US citizenship required.
• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program when applying.

Responsibilities

• Assist with writing articles and interviewing associates for features.
• Support modernization of communication methods and development of new tools.
• Contribute to The Mane Line newsletter and other communications projects.
• Prepare for end-of-program presentations to business leaders.
