Job summary

The Orchards Michigan in Douglas, MI is seeking CNA Students for a paid training opportunity. No prior healthcare experience or CNA certification is required, and selected candidates will be sponsored to attend our partnering CNA school.

You’ll start as a Hospitality Aide for 2–4 weeks to learn the facility and then attend the CNA program. After graduation you’ll return for supervised training and ongoing work toward state certification.

Qualifications

• No current CNA certification or healthcare experience required.
• Ability to attend and complete CNA program through partnering school.
• Commitment to certification within 120 days of return after graduation.
• Compassion for older adults and desire to learn resident care.
• Effective communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.
• Dependability and willingness to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Support residents and staff as Hospitality Aide for 2–4 weeks.
• Deliver meals, keep areas tidy, and assist staff as needed.
• Build positive relationships with residents and follow routines.
• Attend and complete CNA program through partnering school.
• Return for orientation and supervised work after graduation.
• Assist with daily living activities as trained.
• Observe residents and report concerns to the nurse.
• Follow facility policies and confidentiality requirements.
