Job summary

NIS Express in Van Buren, AR is hiring Class A CDL Driver Trainees for a paid training program. If you have completed 120+ hours at an accredited CDL school, you qualify for our one-on-one instruction with no OTR experience required. You’ll train with a dedicated trainer and gain real miles from day one.

The program offers 3–5 weeks of paid training, weekly pay, benefits after 30 days, and opportunities to advance as you complete milestones and demonstrate readiness to solo.

Qualifications

• Must have completed 120+ hours at an accredited CDL school.
• Valid Class A CDL license required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A tractor-trailer safely and in DOT compliance.
• Transport no-touch dry van freight, ~70% drop and hook.
• Meet delivery appointments and maintain on-time performance.
• Keep accurate ELD logs and trip reports.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers.
