Job summary

Voter Education Project in Carson City is seeking a Paid Canvass Lead to supervise a team of canvassers during door-to-door outreach and phone banking. You will coach, motivate, and support staff to meet daily goals and uphold campaign messaging in the field.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills, plus comfort with mobile devices and databases. You will help onboard new canvassers, monitor progress, and coordinate field logistics and materials.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in political canvassing, community organizing, voter outreach, or a related field.
• Prior experience leading, mentoring, or supervising a team is preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate others and lead by example in a fast-paced field environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact for canvassers by answering questions and resolving minor issues in the field.
• Engage with community members to promote the campaign's message and gather valuable voter feedback.
