DESCRIPTION

Interested applicants should have a positive attitude, attention to detail, be self-motivated, punctual, and able to interact with the public in a friendly manner. Porter duties include:

1. Maintaining cleanliness of the theater through sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, replenishing supplies, cleaning carpets, waste management, and bathroom sanitation.
2. Preparing the house for each show.
3. Opening and closing the theatre for the day and evening performances.
4. Monitoring lobby and house areas during shows and assisting with any issues.
5. Directing patrons and answering questions.
6. Performing other duties as assigned.

Candidate must be willing and able to work a schedule that includes days, evenings, and weekends. Compensation is $23.00 per hour, with benefits managed by the Local 32BJ union plan.
