Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence invites engineering students for a Summer 2027 Application Engineer Internship in Novi, MI. You will support software demonstrations, assist with evaluations, and help configure applications while learning from senior engineers.

Qualifications

Pursuing Associate's or Bachelor's in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering.
Interest in metrology and manufacturing technologies.
Foundational CAD/CAM, programming, or data analysis knowledge.
Strong communication and teamwork.
Willingness to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

Support demonstrations of Hexagon's software to prospective customers.
Assist with technical evaluations, product testing, and configuration.
Troubleshoot customer issues under guidance from senior engineers.
Contribute to training materials, documentation, and presentations.
Shadow engineers in customer engagements to learn needs and solutions.
Participate in cross-functional projects between R&D, product management and support.
Learn CAD/CAM, simulation and data analysis best practices.
