Job summary

CHS Inc. is offering an Agronomy Intern position in Drake, ND for Summer 2027.

You’ll work closely with customers to deliver expert guidance and practical service that supports farming operations and CHS's global network. The internship provides hands-on experience in scouting, crop protection and nutrient products, seed, and equipment maintenance, with mentorship from seasoned professionals and opportunities for long-term growth within CHS.

Qualifications

Enrolled in an agriculture-related degree program (e.g., Ag Business or Crop Science).
Proficient with Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

Gain knowledge of general agronomy skills such as scouting, crop protection products, crop nutrient products, seed, custom application procedures, mixing procedures, truck driving, and delivering product.
Perform all agronomy/seed operations.
Monitor and maintain quality of inventory.
Regulate and periodic housecleaning processes and record keeping.
Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance for all agronomy equipment including legs, conveyors, towers, vehicles, sprayers, floaters, trucks, etc.
Provide excellent customer service and assist customers as needed.
Work in and keep an environment that is compliant with state, local, and CHS Environmental and Safety policy.
