Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) invites you to join our Environmental Services Manager in Training program, a structured 12-week paid rotation designed to develop you to oversee housekeeping, laundry, and floor care operations at a long-term care facility.

You will learn to manage an account, supervise staff, ensure compliance with policies and state/federal requirements, and communicate with administrators and occupants as you progress toward independent management responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must have computer skills with the ability to maintain records and complete reports, including web-based reporting.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff, effectively communicating directives.
• All other duties as assigned.
