You will work with children and young people with complex developmental needs, applying evidence-based approaches and collaborating with schools, families, and other professionals to promote participation and independence.

The role focuses on assessment, adaptation of environments, delivering training to staff, and contributing to service development and policy.

Formación

• Experience delivering occupational therapy to children and young people in educational settings.
• Ability to work with complex developmental needs including autism and learning disabilities.
• Strong collaboration with schools, families and multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and deliver school-based OT services to children with complex needs.
• Provide training and resources to teachers and staff.
• Support early intervention and prevention activities to reduce escalation.
• Collaborate with families and other professionals for coordinated care.
• Document assessments and interventions in clinical records.
