A vibrant entertainment company in Indiana, PA seeks a Paddock Attendant to ensure the cleanliness and safety of the race paddock and locker rooms. The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma and strong communication skills. Responsibilities include maintaining stall cleanliness and assisting with various tasks based on the racing schedule. This role requires outdoor work and the physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds, adhering to PHRC regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Clean commission stalls and empty out stalls.

Responsibilities

SCOPE AND MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:

  • The Paddock Attendant works at various times according to the racing schedule.
  • The attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the race paddock stalls, commission stalls, locker rooms and the outside grounds.
  • They may be assigned other various task from time to time.

FUNCTIONS AND RESPOSIBILITIES:

  • Be familiar with location and number of stalls used in the paddock
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment in the paddock
  • Clean commission stalls and empty out stalls in the paddock
  • Assist with pad collection, cleaning pads and distribution of pads as directed
Requirements

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Able to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Knowledge of PHRC regulations
  • Basic math skills
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work outside for periods of time
  • Bend, Stoop, Kneel
  • Lift up to 30 pounds
  • Vision and hearing within normal range
  • Work in dimly lit, noisy areas and less than perfect conditions

REQUIRED LICENSURE:

  • Current PHRC License
  • Valid PA Drivers License
