Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care in Clearlake, California for a 13-week assignment. The position is 40 hours per week with 10-hour days in the PACU, travel employment with housing or housing allowance provided.

The nurse must hold an active RN license, have a nursing degree from an accredited program, and possess BLS/ACLS certifications with at least 18 months of recent PACU experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PACU setting

Responsibilities

• Provide care for post-operative patients recovering from anesthesia, including general, regional, and local.
• Monitor patients as they wake up from anesthesia and until discharge or transfer to the floor.
