Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree BSN or completion of BSN or appropriate advanced degree within 3 years of hire is preferred.
• Specialized Diploma from an accredited nursing program is required.
• BLS certification required and active RN license in NJ.
• Critical care background with SPU/PACU RN experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, education, and discharge planning skills are essential.
• Experience in patient and family-centered care and collaboration in inter-professional teams is expected.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patients, families, and staff to deliver compassionate, coordinated care.
• Partner with patients and families to identify learning needs and provide education.
• Follow nursing protocols to minimize risk and ensure patient safety.
• Communicate using health IT to document care, monitor outcomes, and support ethical decisions.
• Participate in safety and quality improvement initiatives and committees.

Education
