Boone Hospital Group in Columbia, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PACU. Work is Monday through Friday days with 12-hour shifts from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

A $20,000 sign-on incentive is offered, with relocation assistance available. The role emphasizes direct patient care in perioperative settings and adherence to safety standards. Minimum qualifications include a Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing and an RN license; ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients and families on illness or injury management, including post-treatment home care and medication administration.
• Uses critical thinking to assess and evaluate patient’s physical, psychosocial and emotional needs.
• Develops and implements individual plans of care with the healthcare team.
• Evaluates patient response and modifies plan of care during the stay.
• Participates in safety, quality and regulatory compliance activities.
• Engages in professional development and lifelong learning.
