Job summary

Avita Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Surgery Department at the Bucyrus location. The role covers pediatric through geriatric patients in the surgical setting, with responsibility for ventilation, hemodynamics, and pain management until transfer.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification or obtained within 3 months of hire.
• Current PALS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care to pediatric through geriatric patient populations.
• Communicates with surgeon and anesthesia staff about patient condition.
• Assesses and maintains ventilation, hemostasis, and circulation; monitors level of consciousness and pain management.
• Participates in performance improvement activities.
