Job summary

MetroHealth Main Campus Recovery Room/PACU is seeking an Registered Nurse to support the immediate post-operative period for pediatric through adult patients. You will maintain airway, monitor hemodynamics, and ensure patient comfort and safety in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Shifts are rotating with holidays and a call requirement. Bi-weekly hours total 64.00 across OR/ED/Inpatient teams, collaborating with anesthesia, surgeons, PT, radiology, and pharmacy.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN licensure in Ohio.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers, or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certifications or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient airway.
• Assess hemodynamic stability and support.
• Monitor sedation, neurological, neuromuscular, and sensory motor status.
• Provide adequate pain and comfort measures.
• Assess wound/incision integrity.
• Overall patient assessment.
