Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, compassionate care across a diverse patient population. You will perform assessments, design and implement care plans, administer medications, and evaluate responses while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

You will educate patients and families, monitor vital signs, and ensure documentation aligns with standards.

Formación

• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days for Critical Care/ICU units.
• PALS within 90 days for Emergency Care; Oncology certification or CHEMO/BIOTHEROPY provider card within 6 months for Oncology.
• Perinatal/NICU credentials for Women’s Care/Neonatal units as applicable.
• Demonstrated RN scope of practice and clinical knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments and monitor responses.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
• Document care per regulatory and organizational standards.
