Job summary

Arizona Spine and Joint Hospital seeks a PRN Registered Nurse for the PreOp/PACU team. You will provide perianesthesia nursing care across age groups and use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.

The role includes supervising other PACU/pre-operative staff and may involve decision-making in the absence of the department director. ARIZONA RN license and BLS are required; ACLS & PALS must be obtained within 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of professional nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Arizona.
• Current BLS certification.
• Must be able to achieve ACLS & PALS certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

Required Experience:

• Demonstrates eligibility for employment in the U.S.
• Graduate of a school of professional nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Arizona
• Current BLS certification
• Must be able to achieve ACLS & PALS certification within 30days of employment.
• Ability to relate and work effectively with others
• Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care and to meet documentation standards.
• Previous PACU, critical care, or emergency room nursing experience is preferred.
