Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a dedicated RN for a dynamic Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) role in Hilton Head Island, SC. You will monitor patients recovering from anesthesia, assess vitals, manage pain, and identify potential post-operative complications while collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• RN license current in appropriate state required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• One year of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and prioritize patients across a wide range of conditions and acuity levels.
• Monitor patients' recovery, vital signs, and pain management.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions in a fast-paced PACU setting.
• Educate, support, and advocate for patients and families throughout recovery.
