Job summary

Memorial Health is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to provide total age-appropriate post-operative care in a Magnet hospital environment. You will deliver care as patients recover from anesthesia, support families, and manage pre-op holding for OR patients.

The role requires Illinois RN licensure, current BLS/CPR, and preferred critical care experience. Four 10-hour shifts, with a sign-on bonus opportunity, on-site at Memorial Health in Springfield.

Qualifications

• Licensed as RN in Illinois.
• Current BLS/CPR certification per policy.
• Previous Critical Care experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate post-anesthesia care for patients recovering from surgery or procedures.
• Delegate, supervise, and provide nursing care for a designated patient group using the nursing process.
• Support families and manage pre-op holding area for ED/nursing unit patients.
• Participate in quality improvement and integrate evidence-based practice.
