Job summary

Gold Coast Surgicenter in Chicago seeks an experienced Registered Nurse in a same-day surgery setting to provide comprehensive postoperative care. You will administer medications, monitor patients, and discharge per policy, while ensuring privacy and safety and coordinating with physicians and staff.

Eligible candidates hold an RN license, BLS/ACLS, and graduate from an accredited nursing program; PTO and a 401(k) plan with company match are offered alongside other benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse License.
• Current American Heart Assn. BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assists in provision of nursing care to patients in a same day surgery setting.
• Monitors and controls use of and charging for supplies utilized in the center.
• Administers medications and treatments ordered by the physicians.
• Cares and discharges post-operative patients according to facility policies.
