Job summary

Ochsner LSU Health is seeking a registered nurse to lead the delivery of patient care using the Nursing Process within the Nurse Practice Act framework. You will supervise licensed and ancillary staff, delegate appropriately, and contribute to unit and department strategic goals.

The role requires RN licensure in the state, BLS certification, and strong data-entry and communication skills to support high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have computer skills and dexterity for data entry and retrieval of patient information.
• Proficient with Windows-style applications and role-specific software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for diverse patient care interactions.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Experience collaborating in Interdisciplinary Teams.

Responsibilities
