Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license with post-anesthesia care experience.
• Ability to respond quickly to changes in patient condition.
• Strong communication skills for patient and family education.
• Commitment to safety, infection control, and quality care standards.
• Experience working in diverse, underserved populations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care to surgical patients, monitoring vital signs, airway, pain, and recovery status.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition, administer IV medications, and follow protocols to ensure safe recovery, discharge, or transfer.
• Support a collaborative, patient-focused team in delivering culturally competent care to an underserved community.
• Educate patients and families about post-operative care.
• Maintain accurate electronic health record documentation and adhere to infection prevention and safety standards.
