Job summary

Provident Behavioral Health in Seaford, Delaware seeks a full-time Registered Nurse for a PACU (Post Anesthesia Care) role. You will provide safe nursing care to surgical patients immediately after anesthesia and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal recovery and timely discharge.

The ideal candidate holds an active Delaware RN license with at least 1 year of critical care experience, plus BLS and ACLS certifications and strong clinical assessment skills.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of residence.
• Minimum of 1 year critical care experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, individualized nursing care to surgical patients immediately after anesthesia.
• Monitor and assess patient recovery in PACU.
• Develop and evaluate care plans and document progress.
• Support patient and family education and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and assist with anesthesia procedures and pre-operative preparations.
