Qualifications

• 2+ years of ED, CCU or PACU experience required.
• Registered Nurse License - Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license
• ACLS required; BLS required; PALS required
• PALS certification required within six months of hire; ACLS within 1 year

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care utilizing hospital policies and ASPAN standards.
• Develop and monitor plan of care for each patient.
• Coordinate pre-op, intra-op and post-op care with team members including surgeons and anesthesia.
• Ensure discharge criteria are met and transition patient to next level of care.
