Qualifications

• Current valid California RN license required.
• BSN or MSN required.
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience in PACU or critical care.
• BLS, ACLS required; PALS within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to push, pull, lift up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and develop care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care for patients at the Outpatient Surgery Center in Santa Monica.
• Deliver comprehensive preoperative and postoperative care for surgical patients.
• Monitor recovery from anesthesia and manage pain and complications.
• Administer medications and educate patients and families.
• Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia providers to ensure safe patient flow.
