Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• NH RN license required or valid compact state license.
• BLS certification required during orientation; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vitals and assess patient status post-anesthesia.
• Administer medications, pain relief, and IV fluids per physician orders.
• Educate patients and families about recovery progress and discharge plans.
• Document postoperative care accurately in medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to ensure safe, timely recovery.
• Support discharge planning and patient education for home care.
